FACULTY ASSOCIATION
The purpose of each Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Campus Faculty Association
is to promote professionalism through the pursuit of excellence and competency in teaching, to
serve as the voice of the faculty in decision making, to provide an open forum for the free
discussion of academic and professional issues, and to support the overall mission of the
Community College. Additionally, the Association represents the common interests of faculty and staff to
the administration and Governing Board regarding educational priorities, employment rights and
responsibilities, and employment conditions and salaries.
