Library Finding Books...
To look for books owned by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Campus Libraries, search the online card catalog. Click on the iBistro
link of the library's home page. Select the appropriate library to serach (JC, JD, Perk) from the drop down box on the right side of your screen. To search holdings on all campuses use the default selection All. Type your search term in the Search For box and click enter for a general information search. Click on Full Details to the left to find out more information about a book. Newer titles often have a picture of the front cover, author bios, Tables of Contents, reviews, and summaries.
The catalog will indicate the location of the book. Locations include STACKS, REFERENCE, RESERVE, MCNAUGHTON, MEDIA-CENTER, ON-ORDER, and CHECKEDOUT. STACKS and MCNAUGHTON indicate books that are currently available for circulation; REFERENCE and RESERVE materials are to be used in the library. Ask for reserve materials at the circulation desk.
