To locate articles in magazines or journals on a particular subject, start with an index. An index allows you to search by subjects or keywords which describe your topic or by the author. All three of the MGCCC Libraries hold the Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature and the Humanities Index. The Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature is a cumulative index to magazines of general interest published in the United States. Humanities Index is a cumulative index to English language journals. The subjects covered in this index include archaeology, classical studies, area studies, folklore, history, language and literature, performing arts, philosophy, religion, and theology.
