Web Development - This site provided by John December gives many useful links and diagrams illustrating effective web development.

Yale C/AIM Web Style Guide - An online Web Style Guide that includes advice on traditional editorial approaches to documents with graphic design, user interface design, information design, graphics, text within web pages, and technical authoring skills required to optimize HTML code.

 General Reference

 Blue Web'n Learning Sites Library - Blue Web'n is a searchable database of about 1,000 outstanding Internet learning sites categorized by subject area, audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, & tools). Blue Web'n does not attempt to catalog all educational sites, but only the most useful sites -- especially online activities targeted at learners. All links receive a rating (from 1 to 5) based on content. Sites included are normally limited to a ranking of 4 or 5. Sites are available for vocational-technical programs.

INFOMINE: Scholarly Internet Resource Collections - INFOMINE is a comprehensive showcase, virtual library and reference tool containing highly useful Internet/Web resources including databases, electronic journals, electronic books, bulletin boards, listservs, online library card catalogs, articles and directories of researchers, among many other types of information.

 Refdesk.com - A massive site of links covering almost everything. This site attempts to create order to the Internet. 

Accounting 

AuditNet: Internet Resources for Auditors - Provides many annotated links to websites related to accounting and auditing. There are also links to sites that list employment opportunities in the accounting and finance professions.

 Business and Economics 

EDGAR Database - EDGAR, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Its primary purpose is to increase the efficiency and fairness of the securitiesmarket for the benefit of investors, corporations, and the economy byaccelerating the receipt, acceptance, dissemination, and analysis of time-sensitive corporate information filed with the agency.

 News on the Net - Provides several news-related links to current events, current technology sites, political stories and media stories.

The WWW Virtual Library: Communications and Media - Contains links to broadcasters, journalism, publixhers and telecommunications web sites.

PC Webopaedia online encyclopedia and search engine dedicated to computer technology.
