We’ve made the transition easy for thousands of people, from recent high-school graduates to career changers...and we can do the same for you. When it comes to providing friendly help when you need it, we are here.
Our website can take you where you want to go. Whether you need the first two years of a four-year degree in one of dozens of traditional fields or one of the ever-changing technical careers; a terminal associate of arts or applied science degree; or a diploma or certificate that says you’re “workforce-ready,” we have what you’ve been looking for.

the application for admission online, but a printable application
for admission is available for download. Simply complete the application
and fax or mail to the campus of your choice.

Checklist for Admissions
Complete
MGCCC Application for Admission, and bring or mail to the Admissions
Office of your choice.
- Complete
the MGCCC Housing Application (Perkinston Campus only), and bring or
mail to:

A $50 housing application deposit is required.
- Request
official transcript from your high school and/or all colleges attended
and have the transcript(s) mailed directly to the Admissions Office
of the campus of your choice.
- Students
who have completed the General Education Development Test Battery (GED)
are required to have their official score reports sent directly to the
Admissions Office. Only official score reports will be accepted. Unofficial
copies are not acceptable.
- Students
who plan to follow an academic or technical program must submit a copy
of their American College Test (ACT) scores to the Admissions Office,
or take the ACT Enhanced ASSET Assessment Test, which will be administered
by the college.
- You must
meet all Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College admission requirements
before you may receive financial aid, veteran’s benefits or housing.
