• As assistant coach part of three South Division titles, two state titles, three regional titles, nationally ranked twice
• Starting point guard for MGCCC, 1976-1978
• As player participated in one South State title, one state championship
• Selected to All-State basketball team, 1977 & 1978
• Selected state MVP, 1978
• Holds MGCJC record for most assists in a single game
• Holds MGCJC record for most assists in a season

• Entering first season as assistant basketball coach at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
• Served as an assistant coach at Martin Methodist College for two seasons
• Won 28 games at Martin Methodist including 5 against NAIA Top 25 teams and a semi-final appearance in the TranSouth Conference Tournament in 2006
• Coached 3 All-TranSouth Conference players while at Martin Methodist
• 14 players were named to the TranSouth All-Academic Team during his tenure
• Served as a student assistant at the University of Mississippi from 2001-04
• Ole Miss won 47 games and participated in the 2001 NCAA Tournament during that time
• Received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ole Miss in 2003 in Secondary Mathematics Education
• Received his Master’s Degree from Ole Miss in 2004 in Mathematics Education
• Was named Elaine Dees Mullins Outstanding Secondary Mathematics Educator and Outstanding Master’s Degree Student while at Ole Miss
