Perkettes dance all year

Once the Perkettes put on their two-inch heels in late summer, they don’t stop dancing until spring. This year’s dance team starts its season performing with the college’s Band of Gold during the halftime show of the home football games.

After the football season ends, the Perkettes completely redesign their dance routines over the December holiday break. The team trades in their sequined uniforms for dance leotards and entertains home crowds during basketball season. The Perkettes finish their year marching in several Mardi Gras parades across the Coast.
