on the Perkinston Campus
Schedule of activities
Thursday, October 6
7 p.m. - Homecoming Parade, followed by pep rally and introduction of Homecoming court, A.L. May Memorial Stadium, Perkinston Campus
Saturday, October 8
8:30-9:30 a.m. - Homecoming registration, Alumni House, Perkinston Campus
9 a.m. - Prayer Service, Gregory War Memorial Chapel
9:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Reunion groups meet at Liaison (honoring all graduates with classes ending in “5,” Golden Plus classes)
9:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Open House at Liaison
9:30 a.m.-Noon and 1-2:30 p.m. - Archives display in Archives Room, Heidelberg Hall (downstairs in the cafeteria)
10 – 11 a.m. – Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Malone Hall
12 Noon – Alumni Hall of Fame Luncheon, Perkinston Campus Cafeteria, including the Alumni Association business meeting, presentation of Sam Owen Trophy, special recognition of reunion groups and the Alumni Hall of Fame induction
2:30-3 p.m. - Pre-game activities, A.L. May Memorial Stadium, homecoming courts/crowning of queens
3 p.m. - Football game: Gulf Coast vs. Southwest. Will include halftime presentation of 2005 Athletic Hall of Fame and performance by Band of Gold/Perkettes
Golden Reunion - Class of 1955
Perkinston Agricultural High School and Perkinston Junior College (PAHS/PJC)
graduates and attendees from 1955 will celebrate their 50th anniversary
during the Oct. 6-8 homecoming activities.
The three-day festivities will include the Homecoming Parade on Thursday with the Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet
occuring on Homecoming day. Plans for Saturday include brunch at the Alumni House for all
reunion years (1945, 1955, 1965, 1975, 1985 and 1995.) The day will also
include a homecoming luncheon, where the Alumni Hall of Fame inductees,
Sam Owen Award recipient and all reunion groups will be recognized.
The Alumni/Foundation office is asking for help in planning the reunions
and locating alumni. If you can assist the Alumni Office in locating your
