They're coming...
Getting ready for fall 2005
Although it certainly doesn’t feel like it, summer is almost over. In a matter of weeks, each campus will spring back to life with students, instructors, activities and, of course, the return of the 5 p.m. work day. Classes officially begin Aug. 22, but for most Gulf Coast instructors, the new school year begins at the Fall Faculty Workshop.

New entrance at JD Campus easies traffic congestion
The college opened a new entranceway at the
Jefferson Davis Campus just in time for the fall semester
traffic. This road is more than a scenic route lined with
Southern pines. It will ease traffic congestion and is also
an example of the college’s strategic plan for future
growth.

MGCCC surges up Top 100 rankings
Surging up 11 spots to No. 80 overall, Gulf Coast is once again ranked as one of the country’s top 100 community colleges by Community College Week. This is the third straight year Gulf Coast has made the educational magazine’s annual national rankings.
