If you’re not familiar with the Teddy Bear Drive at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Jefferson Davis Campus, then you haven’t met Kay Bethea. As developer and co-sponsor of Connections, the Gulfport campus’s student-to-student mentor program, Bethea, along with co-sponsor Patricia Modenbach, is quick to promote the drive --and the reason behind it— to anyone who will listen.
