SPRING 2006 ENROLLMENT REPORT
As of January 12, 2006, the end of late registration for spring semester, there were 7,650 students registered and paid district-wide. This represents a decrease of 1,927 students (20.1%) compared with the end of late registration for spring 2005.

President to deliver State of the College address in
February
President Willis Lott is planning February
visits to campuses and centers to discuss the state of
the college as it recovers from Hurricane Katrina. Two
sessions will be held at each campus, making it possible
for all faculty and staff to attend.

MGCCC hosts U.S. Senate Committee Hearing
The JD campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College served as a perfect backdrop for the U.S. Senate’s committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Six members of this elite panel were on hand at the Fine Arts Arena Theatre to hear testimony from federal, state, and local officials on the preparation for and response to Hurricane Katrina.
