Paslay, Knowles, Harris take 2006 IOY honors

Many are nominated, three are chosen. In 2006, Marie Palsay, Dr. David Knowles and Jodi Harris are winners of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Instructor of the Year award. The annual honor goes to instructors from the three main Gulf Coast campuses, instructors who do more than give lectures and put together lesson plans.

Epting jumps head first into Board of Trustees spot

Jim Epting Jr. knows exactly what challenges Hurricane Katrina brought to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College-the storm wiped out his Pascagoula home. Right now he and his wife Linda are living in Moss Point, and making do just like so many others in South Mississippi whose lives were changed forever on Aug. 29, 2005.
