of the award, which is given annually to instructors from

Lott
visits with President Bush during Gulf Coast trip
Dr. Willis Lott, Mississippi Gulf
Coast Community College president, was one of nine South
Mississippi leaders to visit with President George W. Bush
during the commander-in-chief’s
14th visit to the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina. Bush
spoke with Lott and others at Biloxi’s City Hall on
March 1.

Haley Barbour to speak at MGCCC graduation
Governor Haley Barbour will be the commencement speaker
at graduation ceremonies for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community
College on May 10. The event is set for 2 p.m. at the Mississippi
Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Miss.
