cook up student scholarships
The catfish was served up hot and fresh and devoured by crowds
of hungry folks. When it was all over, the pounds and pounds of
catfish cooked throughout March and April in four counties brought
in around $39,400 for Gulf Coast student scholarships. That amount
has put a smile on Brenda Donahoe’s face.
“Thanks to everyone who purchased plates and those who made
donations, we have once again brought in an impressive amount of
money that will help students at Gulf Coast. It’s a great
feeling,” says Donahoe, alumni officer.
