College expects record-breaking graduation

Mortarboard hats and navy blue gowns will be in high fashion on Thursday, May 12, as Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College celebrates another record-breaking graduating class. More than 1,600 students from throughout the college’s four-county district have applied for graduation this year.

MGCCC receives $6 million loan from USDA

A $6 million low-interest loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture is making a new residential student complex at Gulf Coast a reality. USDA Rural Development State Director Nick Walters made the announcement on April 28 during a meeting with Dr. Willis Lott, Gulf Coast president, and community leaders.
