Sirens, Text Messaging, Locks Among the New Measures

its security cameras. Franklin & Marshall College
in Lancaster, Pa., will start training students how to get
out of harm's way during a crisis.

expands online alumni base & Bulldog Club membership
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College alumni family
continues to grow thanks to an online e-mail system and a
growing membership of the college’s Bulldog Club. Jere
Hess, Gulf Coast associate vice president for Development,
has spent the past few months fielding requests for information
about the college via e-mails from alumni members nationwide.

“New
Harmonies” exhibit headed to MGCCC
Through a partnership with the Smithsonian Institution
in Washington, D.C., the Mississippi Humanities Council is
bringing “New Harmonies,” a portable seven-kiosk
exhibit, to the Jefferson Davis Campus of the Mississippi
Gulf Coast Community College from September 1-28.
