MGCCC ups record to 2-0 after win over Co-Lin

WESSON--Nationally ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College ran its record to 2-0 Saturday with a 30-27 victory over the Copiah-Lincoln Wolves at Stone Stadium. Bulldogs quarterback Eric Walden, a sophomore from Thomasville, Ga., had touchdown runs of 1 and 33 yards while tossing a 71-yard touchdown pass to C.J. Hawthorne (St. Martin).

Gulf Coast golf team sixth in season-opening tournament

The Gulf Coast Bulldog golf team finished sixth in the 2005 Hoyt Carlisle Golf Tournament played Oct. 3-4 on the 7400-yard FarmLinks Golf Club in Sylacauga, Ala.
