Backyard Barbecue Crowd crows about another record enrollment

The annual Backyard Barbecue at Liaison drew a crowd of nearly 600 people. The tradition occurs before the first football game of the season and is hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Willis Lott to welcome friends and alumni to the college and to open their home to employees and their families.

Northrop Grumman employees go back to school

PASCAGOULA -- A group of Northrop Grumman Ships Systems employees are going to college for a specialized degree. And the campus will be almost next door.
An estimated 50 Ship Systems employees have enrolled through Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for courses in logistics technology, a new associate degree program established through a joint effort between the college and Ship Systems.
