MGCCC Kids Fest draws hundreds

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College transformed the George County Center in Lucedale into a child’s ultimate playground for the inaugural Kids Fest. The family event drew around 1,000 parents and children from across South Mississippi. Kids Fest was hosted by the alumni chapter and raised more than $7,000 for Gulf Coast student scholarships.

Meet the Teams attracts Bulldog fans

More than 200 Bulldog fans got the chance to know this year’s football and soccer players at annual Meet the Teams. This pre-season college tradition was Aug. 26 at A.L. May Memorial Stadium on the college’s Perkinston Campus.
