Lifelong Learning Institute
 The
MGCCC Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) at Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College provides an educational opportunity that meets
the needs of America's maturing population. That's what the LLI
is about: mature adults who care about lifelong learning, are self-motivated,
and want to continue their experiences with other interested individuals.
The Institute is a participant-driven program.
Committees composed of LLI members make all the who, what, when,
where decisions that determine the courses and activities for each
LLI program.
Members have a wide range of experiences and backgrounds, but they share one common value: a belief in lifelong learning. Retired men and women who are 50 years and older are invited to become members of the Lifelong Learning Institute.
Activities
 By joining the LLI each year, you can travel to interesting places, take classes, attend monthly luncheon lectures, or even learn the most recent computer applications. Class topics will be selected from suggestions of the members. The topics reflect the diversity and interest of the members, and may include conversational foreign languages, computer use, yoga, painting, history, philosophy, health planning, financial planning, genealogy, photography, and others.

To Join
Be at least 50 years of age and retired. There are no academic or experience requirements.
