Dual Enrollment High School Student Checklist
DUAL ENROLLMENT/DUAL CREDIT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS – Academically talented students who are currently enrolled in high school but meet the requirements to attend college classes while still taking high school.
- Complete the free application for admission on line or print out the paper application and bring or mail to the Admissions office of the campus or center you plan to attend.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from high school counselor or principal stating that you have complete 14 units of college preparatory coursework with a 3.0 or better GPA on a 4.0 grading scale.
- Provide official high school transcript indicating grades through the last semester of attendance.
- Contact a counselor for advisement and registration.
- Credit earned through the dual enrollment program will be awarded once you have completed high school graduation requirements and a final official transcript has been received.
