Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is dedicated to enhancing economic growth and the quality of life in South Mississippi by providing residents and employers with workforce education programs, lifelong learning opportunities and basic skills development. Through Community Campus, programs from youth to seniors and many efforts in between are addressed. Each year, more than 32,000 people choose our college for everything from university-transfer credits to special interest classes to workforce development. And talk about community service projects – our campus organizations work throughout the year to raise funds, donate clothes and food to the needy and homeless, and volunteer when disaster strikes.
Our community programs create an atmosphere that fosters lifelong learning, responsible citizenship, and progressive leadership in a dynamic community. Programs and services are held at eight convenient college facilities, onsite with business partners and teachers as well as online.
