Lifelong Learning Institute

Founded in 1996, the Lifelong Learning Institute at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College continues to provide educational opportunities that meet the needs of South Mississippi’s maturing population. The member led organization is for mature adults who care about lifelong learning, are self-motivated and want to continue their experiences with other like-minded individuals. Membership fee is $50 annually with a July to June calendar year.

LLI membership includes opportunities for varied activities:

  • Monthly Luncheon Lectures near home
  • Classes – determined by members
  • Volunteer Community Service program
  • Day trips – 8 per year
  • Overnight Trips – 1 or 2 per year
