Referred to as the “campus without walls”, Gulf Coast’s Community Campus offers employers cutting-edge, affordable and flexible training programs to enhance future workforce development, job growth and job retention in its four-county district. Program participants engage in lifelong learning opportunities that build knowledge, skills and abilities, increasing job satisfaction and their bottom-line performance. Additionally, Community Campus seeks to positively impact South Mississippi’s growth through industry partnerships that help businesses become more innovative, productive and profitable through the investment in training and education. Above all, Community Campus strives to engage and energize employees as organizations strive toward growth and prosperity.
Gulf Coast is dedicated to enhancing economic growth and the quality of life in South Mississippi by providing residents and employers with workforce education programs, lifelong learning opportunities and basic skills development. Through Community Campus, programs and services are available at eight convenient college facilities, at business partner locations and available online.
Administrative services for the Community Campus are housed at the Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Center at 10298 Express Drive in the Intraplex 10 of the Bayou Bernard Industrial District, Gulfport, Mississippi.
