

The Advanced Metalworking Centers for Excellence are specialized hands-on training programs available at three southern Mississippi colleges Jones County Junior College, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and Pearl River Community College. The Centers are dedicated to providing expert instruction and certification to national standards designed to meet industry demands for highly skilled workers.
The Advanced Metalworking Center for Excellence at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is located at the colleges Gulfport center. Welding and pipefitting programs offer training, for beginning and advanced-level students, using a variety of welding, cutting, and fitting techniques.
Eight locations serving Stone, George, Harrison and Jackson counties in South Mississippi, offering academic, career-technical and workforce training.

Attention: To enroll in any Momentum WIRED training program, interested applicants should complete a Momentum WIRED application for training and return the completed form to the Momentum WIRED Call Center. The application should include trainees preference for location and times of desired training session. The MGCCC WIA Coordinator will contact applicants to discuss training opportunities on a first-come, first-serve basis according to received date of the application.
