Tuition and Fees

Thank you for choosing one of our campuses/centers to continue your education at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. As you may know, MGCCC is primarily funded by the state legislature, county taxes, and student tuition/fees. Because reductions by the state legislature and the Governor have significantly affected our budget, many difficult decisions during the past few years have been necessary, including tuition increases.

Our Board of Trustees approved FY 2011 budget May 19, 2010, which includes areas that directly impact you as a student effective in the 2010 fall semester.

  • Student tuition and fee increases will become effective for the 2010 Fall Semester.
  • If you have pre-registered and paid all or a portion of your cost to attend, you will receive an updated cost estimate in the very near future.
  • To assist you in making the necessary financial preparations, this Web link contains updated information regarding the changes in cost to attend Gulf Coast effective July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
  • Procedures for awarding student scholarships and financial aid changes will become effective in the 2010 fall semester. You may contact your financial aid office for updates.
