The exhibit consists of 59 pieces of art created by current and former employees and students and celebrates a half-century of fine art on the Jackson County Campus. Part of the 50-year anniversary celebration for the college’s Coast campuses, the exhibit includes 38 drawings and paintings, three blow glass/sand-etched pieces, 16 ceramic pieces, a steampunk floor lamp, and a wooden table.  Materials for the art include oil, acrylic, spray paint, watercolor, ceramics, cut-paper, wood and metal.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Dr. Gwendolyn Carter at (228) 497-7715 or gwendolyn.carter@mgccc.edu.
