Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Perkinston Campus will host a 5K Zombie Run on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at A.L. May Memorial Stadium. Proceeds for the event will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, local families in need during the holiday season and the MGCCC Scholarship Fund.

Award categories for the Zombie Run are Best Time for male and female runners, Top Three Survivors, Top Three Infected, Best Child Costume and Best Adult Costume. Official timing will be provided by Lisa McCombs with Time Our Adventure.

The run is being held in conjunction with the annual Haunted House at Harrison Hall on Perkinston Campus. The Haunted House will be open on Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 30 from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. each night. Admission is $4.
