Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Jackson County Campus will hold its second annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the campus’ northeast parking lot (near the Admissions, Counseling and Career Center). The event is offered as a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating door-to-door.

Last year, more than 1,000 children participated in the event, which includes more than 12 decorated trunks and a variety of Halloween-themed games and activities. Student clubs on campus organize the event with several local businesses participating as well.

The Trunk or Treat is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Sonya Edwards at (228) 497-7680.
