Breakenridge is a transfer student at The University of Southern Mississippi, working on a double major in elementary education and psychology, and Worthen is planning to get her bachelor’s degree in graphic design.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will hold community-based information sessions on how to start a new career path or continuing with a current educational path during November and December as part of its New Year, New Opportunities, New You campaign. Campus personnel and recruitment staff will be available at the information sessions to help potential students navigate the admissions and registration process.

All sessions will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and will include information on admissions, submitting transcripts and ACT scores, attending Orientation classes and registration, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, Mississippi grants, MGCCC scholarships, applying for housing and scheduling a campus tour.
