Bulldog Day 2009

MGCCC sets Bulldog Day 2009 for high-school seniors

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldog cheerleaders and mascot will provide some of the entertainment on the Perkinston Campus as part of Bulldog Day, March 5. Annually, hundreds of high-school seniors visit Gulf Coast’s three campuses for the special college preview day. Because most seniors will be making decisions about college in the next few weeks, Bulldog Day gives them the opportunity to see campus life at the Jackson County, Jefferson Davis and Perkinston campuses. Hundreds of high-school seniors are expected to visit the three campuses of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for Bulldog Day, March 5, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Because these students will be making decisions about college in the next few weeks, Bulldog Day gives them the opportunity to see campus life at the Jackson County, Jefferson Davis and Perkinston campuses, as well as the chance to meet potential instructors and tour campus programs. Students will also receive information about registration, financial aid and scholarships. The day will also include lunch and entertainment by various student groups.
