Dr. Alessandra Feris
Dr. Alessandra Feris, piano instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, will kick off her spring/summer international recital tour at the Jefferson Davis Campus on March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Her performances will culminate with recitals in Brazil and Costa Rica in July. Feris received her doctoral degree in piano performance from Florida State University, has achieved top prizes in competitions at both the national and international levels, and has performed in many countries in South America and Europe.
Her performance dates include the following:
MGCCC (Jefferson Davis Campus) - March 2 at 7 p.m.
The University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg) - March 6 at 6 p.m.
Alcorn State University (Natchez) - March 27- 28 (performing the opening recital and judging the ‘II Alcorn State Piano Competition’)
James Madison University, Va. - April
Texas Christian University (Fort Worth) - April
