Electronics
Course Description
Concepts of digital
electronics. Topics include number systems, logic circuits, counters,
registers, memory devices, combination logic circuits, Boolean algebra, and a
basic computer system.
Objectives

Demonstrate and practice general
safety procedures in the school and work site environments.

Perform mathematical operations in
digital numbering systems.

Classify logic gates and explain
their function.

Analyze logic circuits.

Minimize and describe circuits using
the Boolean algebra and Karnaugh mapping.

Analyze principles and operations of
digital display devices.

Explain the operation of basic
memory circuits.
