Proctored Testing Information for Online Courses:

All online courses are required by MSVCC to have at least one proctored exam each semester.  However, instructors may require up to three proctored tests for each course.  Please view the MSVCC Course Syllabus for each course you are interested in PRIOR to registering for the course for more information.

It is up to the instructor to determine which test or tests will be proctored, so you will need to contact the course instructor to receive specific testing information for each course you take.

You may take your proctored exam at any MSVCC Assessment Center in the state.  Please visit the Proctored Testing website to get a complete list of assessment centers along with hours of operation and contact information.

If you have circumstances which will prevent you from using one of the approved MSVCC Assessment Centers, you will need to speak with your instructor regarding the possibility of using an off campus proctor.  If the instructor approves of your using an off campus proctor, you will need to get the prospective proctor to complete the Off Campus Proctor Request Form.  The instructor must approve the proctor prior to the test, so it is best to have this process completed at the beginning of the semester.
