Log into your course in Blackboard.

Click on the Control Panel button.

Click on the Add Users link under User
Management.

Click on the Create User.
-
Under section 1, Personal Information,
complete the following areas:

First Name
-
Last Name
-
Email Enter the students email address.
If you are not going to use the email function within Blackboard you can
enter a fictitious email address. i.e., @mgccc.edu.

Student ID Enter the students social
security number

Under section 2, Account Information,
complete the following areas:

Username Enter the
username using the following format - The first letter of their first name,
followed by the last name, followed by the last four of their SSAN. (EX:
msmith6789)

Password Use the same format as was used
for the Username.

Verify Password Enter the same as step
6.b.
NOTE:
These entries are case sensitive.

Under section 4, Role and Availability,
ensure the radio button for Student is selected and that the Yes
option is selected for Available (this course only).

Click the Submit button in the
bottom right corner of the screen.

Click the OK button on the Add Users
screen.
