wait at least one working day after you register before accessing your student
profile. If after this time, you are still having problems, please contact
distance learning.

Your
student identifier is the last four numbers of your social security number

What actions do I need to take if
I notice that my personal information, contained in my MSVCC Student Profile, is
incorrect?
If you notice
that your personal information located in your MSVCC Student Profile is
incorrect, please email
Distance Learning or call the Distance
Learning office at 228-897-3863 or 228-897-3742.
To provide
the best service possible, please provide the information outlined below when
contacting your instructor, distance learning, and technical support:

First and last name

Last four digits of your social security number

Course name and number for which you require assistance

complete description of the problem for which you require assistance.

this information will help afford quicker resolution for problems.

How do I access my student email
account?
The
directions on how to retrieve your email password and access your student email
account areas follows:

services

Log into
Secure Area
Note: If you do not know your primary pin number, the third sentence
above the log in area states, “If
you do not know your PIN or need assistance obtaining one, please visit
our
Web Services Information
page.” Click “Web Services Information” and key in your SSN and birth
date. The system will automatically provide the proper information.
**For
additional assistance with finding your pin number, or getting into web
services, please visit Admissions or the Career Center at the campus
where you registered.

Services, Click the link for Personal Information

Click
Retrieve Student Email Account & Hybrid/Web Enhanced username & password

Write down
the username (example:
bmatth1@student.mgccc.edu and password

Go to
www.mgccc.edu

Click on
the link for
Student Email (the 9th link under the Students section)

Click
“@PEN
WEBMAIL ACCESS”

Type in
your username (example:bmatth1) and password

Click
continue

Click Inbox
How do I auto-forward emails sent
to my student email account to a personal email account?
Once you have accessed your new
email account you can choose to auto-forward all emails sent to this account to
a personal email account. Please follow the directions below to auto-forward
email:
1. Click
the Account Options drop list located in the upper right corner of your screen.
2. Select the "Forwarding"
option from the drop list.
3. Enter
the email address for the personal email account that you want all emails to be
forwarded and click the "Save"
button.
How do I change my student email
account password?
Once you have accessed your new
email account you can choose to change your password for this account. Please
follow the directions below to change your password:
1. Click
the Account Options drop list located in the upper right corner of your screen.
2. Select
the "Change Password"
option from the drop list.
3. Enter
your old password in the first field, enter your new password in the next two
fields, and click the "Save"
button.

Enter the new password

Click Submit
Keep in mind that the MGCCC
hybrid/web enhanced server and the MSVCC server are two separate systems.
If you have classes in both systems, your password will need to be changed in
each system.
