ADDING FILES TO YOUR DROP BOX

  1. Log into your course in Blackboard.
  2. Click on the “Tools” button located on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click on the “Digital Drop Box” link.
  4. Click the “Add file” button to add files to your digital drop box.
  5. Title the file.
  6. Click the “Browse” button to search for the location on your hard drive or floppy drive for the file and select the file.
  7. Enter any necessary comments.
  8. Click the “Submit” button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

NOTE: The file will be added to only your drop box. This process will not send the file to the instructor.

SENDING FILES TO YOUR INSTRUCTOR

  1. Click the “Send file” to send the selected file to your instructor.
  2. Title the file.
  3. Select the appropriate file from the dropdown list, if the file is already in your drop box; or upload a new file using the “Browse” button.
  4. Enter any necessary comments.
  5. Click the “Submit” button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
