Logistics Technology
The Logistics Technology Program at MGCCC at the Jackson County Campus in Gautier, MS, is designed to prepare individuals to manage and coordinate the procurement, distribution, maintenance, and replacement of material and personnel. Logistical functions in an enterprise are the part of the supply chain process that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services, and related information from point of origin to point of use or consumption in order to meet customer requirements.
This curriculum leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to a senior college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a community college guidance counselor for advisement. For more information, call the Jackson County Campus at (228) 497-7743.
