Availability: A schedule of availability
is posted on the lab door. Lab monitors or instructors must be present
when students are in the computer lab.
Science classes have computer priority over
individual students in the lab.
Please Read the Printing Regulations Posted in
the Lab!
Materials:
There are several science
textbook CD ROM study
guides that can be used in the lab (they may not be removed from the lab).
The subjects include: Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition and General
Biology I and II.
CD programs can be checked out/in via the lab monitor.
PowerPoint presentations are loaded on the computers and
available via the internet.
Rules:

Students will sign-in and
designate which computer they are using for that time period. Sign-in
sheets are posted at the door.

No food, drink or
smoking in the computer lab.

No obscene materials
or web sites will be tolerated.

Students are to provide
their own disks for saving data. Any files saved on the computers
will be purged (deleted) on a weekly basis.

The phone in the
computer lab is not for student use and is not for personal calls.

Students are not to
make changes to the computer settings such as screen savers and
wallpaper.

The lab will be closed
and locked when there is no student worker/monitor or faculty member present
for supervision.
Students are not to
load programs on the hard drive. If a student needs a program they
must contact the lab worker.
Students are not to
overload the printer with large documents like PowerPoint presentations.
Students not following
the rules or students causing disturbances will be asked to leave.
