COURSE DESCRIPTION:

A combined lecture and laboratory course that covers carbon chemistry, bonding structure and behavior, aliphatic compounds, stereochemistry, and reaction mechanisms. Labs associated with this course acquaint students with important manipulations and procedures, and the preparation and study of organic compounds.
