MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE NURSE ENTRANCE TEST (NET) As part of the requirements for admission, applicants must score a 69 or above on the Essential Math Skills section and a 59 or above on the Reading Comprehension section of the Nurse Entrance Test (NET). These scores must be attained prior to submitting an application for admission to the ADN Program. Applicants who make less than the minimum scores are allowed to attempt the NET again upon completion of designated remediation. Without remediation, applicants are eligible to take the NET only once every 12 months. The NET is administered in the Career Center on the campus where the student desires to attend the ADN Program: the Jackson County Campus, the Jefferson Davis Campus or the Perkinston Campus. Questions about the NET should be directed to your campus ADN Department. NET guidelines/instructions and NET registration forms are available in your campus ADN Department, Admissions Office, and Career Center. The forms are also available in the Evening Offices on the Jefferson Davis and the Jackson County Campuses. Students must pay a $25 non-refundable fee each time they take the NET. |
