Mississippi Sound

 

 

Mississippi Sound is a select vocal/dance ensemble that performs for civic organizations, church groups, high schools, and college functions.  They present a 30-minute program that appeals to audiences of all ages.  They perform for pre-school children, senior adult groups, nursing home residents and are frequently asked to be guest performers at special events, such National Conventions and Walt Disney World in Orlando .  Mississippi Sound consists of 12 students from across south Mississippi, 1 director, and a bus load of equipment!

MGCCC Perkinston Campus

 

1. Sing a prepared piece (CD or taped accompaniment allowed)

2. Sing voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) on song selection chosen by the director.

3. Choreography will be taught for audition.  Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
