Course Offerings
- American Government (PSC 1113): This course is designed to familiarize the student with the development, organization, principles, and operation of the Federal Government. The course of study includes familiarizing the student with political parties and their roles in government, election machinery, civil rights and how they are protected, and the ways in which the votes influence the direction of our American Government.
- Introduction to Sociology (SOC 2113): This course is designed to give the student an introduction to sociology and its development. Emphasis is placed on how culture is built and how customs and behavior patterns are developed and the functions and importance of social institutions.
- Marriage and Family (SOC 2143): A course designed to analyze current problems in courtship, engagement, and early years of marriage and identify the factors that contribute to success and happiness in marriage.
