Goal
This program will educate and prepare students with the technical skills required
for employment in the field of Process Operations Technology. The program is
based on competencies in demonstrating technical knowledge, skill, and ability
in the following areas: petrochemical industry equipment, instrumentation, process
systems, quality, and troubleshooting. Our graduating students will have the
highest regard for personal safety, safety in the workplace, and protecting
the environment.
Career Opportunities
This program will provide industry with skilled technicians that possess the
basics needed to become productive employees. Students graduating form our program
will fill the positions being left open due to growth in the industry and attrition.
Job placement is predicted to be outstanding for Process Technicians for the
next 5 to 10 years.
