A Musical Event for All to Enjoy

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Jefferson Davis Campus will hold its annual Spring Choral Concert on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Faculty, students and members of the community are invited to hear a choral concert of wonderful and uplifting music.

Featuring a Variety of Songs

Offering something for everyone, the concert will feature the JD Singers choir and Coastal Vibrations acapella vocal jazz ensemble. The choir will present songs related to heaven, such as “Good Night, Dear Heart” and “Sing Me to Heaven.” The Coastal Vibrations segment will feature songs from several decades of popular music, including a Cole Porter collection from the 1920s-1940s and hit songs such as “Stand By Me” from the 1960s and Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long” from the 1980s.

The event is open to the public and free of charge.
