MGCCC Connect

What is Connect?

The purpose of MGCCC Connect is to allow eligible students the ability to access to MGCCC’s unique teaching and learning tools while providing a pathway to dual enrolled courses or regular college entry.

The non-credit course is designed as a bridge program for students and parents that allows them to connect with college Enrollment Specialists for advisement in the areas of Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Pathways, College Metamajors, Scholarships, Transcript Evaluation, University Transfer, Clubs and Organizations, Housing and Athletics

Who should Connect?

Homeschool Students 15 to 18 years of age • Parents of Homeschool Students • Current High School Students

How to Connect?

  • Complete the Non-Credit Registration Form
  • Submit Registration Form to Enrollment Services Center
  • Submit payment to the Business Office
  • Attend the course!


Cost to Connect:

  • $100.00
  • Fee covers one parent and one student (15 to 18 years old)
  • Fee covers selected course chosen from list under Connect Schedule
  • Fee covers all benefits and support services listed below for one year
  • Family rates are available

Connect Schedule

Select one (1) course to attend from the list below:

  •  August 31, 2017 to October 5, 2017 at the Jefferson Davis Campus (Thursdays only)
  •  October 12, 2017 to November 16, 2017 at the Jackson County Campus (Thursdays only)
  •  January 25, 2018 to March 1, 2018 at the Perkinston Campus (Thursdays only)
  •  March 22, 2018 to April 26, 2018 at the  George County Center (Thursdays only)

When to Connect?

  •  Select one (1) course from the schedule listed above
  •  Course will be a total of six (6) hours, one (1) hour per week
  •  Course will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
