Learning About the Fascinating & Fun World of Bats

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will host a Science Café on September 26 at 6 p.m. in the Community Arts Center on the Perkinston Campus. Perkinston Campus science instructor Zachary Roth will discuss “Things That Go Bump in the Night: Bats!”

Roth will demystify the habits of these amazing flying mammals and talk about the secret life they live in Southern Mississippi caves. Whether you think bats are cursed or lucky, pest or pal, the discussion will be enlightening.

Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
